Na7ive Na7ions Announces Groundbreaking Partnership with PBSCCS to Bring
Elite Training to Native Youth
Prescott, AZ – Na7ive Na7ions is proud to announce a groundbreaking collaboration with the Professional Baseball Strength and Conditioning Coaches Society (PBSCCS), a national organization comprised of certified professionals serving athletes across Major League Baseball.
This transformative partnership will deliver decades of MLB-level expertise and world-class training directly to Native communities. Through a series of youth camps, clinics, and virtual instruction, PBSCCS will help reduce injury risk, enhance physical development, and elevate performance outcomes for Native athletes participating in Na7ive Na7ions programs.
DJ Carrasco, Founder of Na7ive Na7ions and former MLB player, shared:
“We at Na7ive Na7ions are blessed to have such an incredible team from PBSCCS join our mission. Having access to this level of knowledge and programming is a game-changer for our athletes and our communities.”
PBSCCS brings an unparalleled depth of expertise rooted in years of hands-on experience at the highest levels of the sport. Their dedication to safe, science-based training and athlete development directly aligns with Na7ive Na7ions’ mission to empower Native youth and expand access to opportunity through baseball and softball.
Brandon McDaniel, President of PBSCCS, said:
“At PBSCCS, we believe in the power of sport to transform lives—and that starts with access to quality education, training and mentorship. Partnering with Na7ive Na7ions gives us a chance to support Native youth in ways that are meaningful and lasting. We’re proud to stand alongside this historic movement and help build stronger, healthier communities through our shared passion for the game.”
This collaboration also sets a new standard in Native Communities—where professional-level programming and grassroots community engagement intersect. By equipping Native athletes with elite-level training and support, the partnership is poised to build a legacy of health, performance, and pride both on and off the field.
“This is about more than just the game,” added Carrasco. “It’s about investing in the lives and futures of our youth—giving them the tools, confidence, and visibility to thrive.”
